ZENFIN'S ZEN DEN
Issue #002 · The Brand New Day Edition · August 2026
It's a brand new day 🕸️
Hi there,
Our last issue went full Love Island, and you all really showed up for it. The response was good enough that we're making it official: every issue gets a theme from here on out. So, welcome to the second one.
This month picked itself. Spider-Man swung back into theaters on July 31st, so we're trading the sun loungers for web-shooters and calling this The Brand New Day Edition. 🕸️
Fitting, because Peter Parker isn't the only one starting fresh. Phase 2 of the Zentry Pass management platform is officially live and in action, a new class of beta operators is suiting up right now, and three new abilities just came online in the platform. Pull up a chair, grab a coffee, and let's get into it.

IN THIS ISSUE 📰
On the docket this month
Phase 2 is live: a new class of beta operators is being brought in, with terms we won't offer again.
Three new powers: AI reporting, in-app document signing, and more checkout customization.
Hometown hero: a brand new St. Louis space that opened its doors with a real point of view.
Insider intel: our new monthly data drop on what day passers actually care about.
Arch Grants: we moved up to the finalist stage.
GWA Denver: we're sponsoring, and we want to meet you there.
But first….. A quick word from our partner:
4x your communication output. Same quality. No burnout.
The bottleneck isn't what you want to say — it's how long it takes to type it. Wispr Flow removes the bottleneck.
Speak naturally and get polished, send-ready text for executive summaries, client updates, board recaps, investor notes, or just the 30 Slack messages you're behind on. Flow strips filler, formats numbers and lists, and preserves your tone.
Used by teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay. 89% of messages sent with zero edits. Works in every app on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.
SUIT UP 🕸️
Phase 2 is live, and we're assembling a new team
Last issue we opened Phase 1 of the management platform beta. That crew came in, told us the truth about how their spaces actually run, and we built around it. Now Phase 2 is live and in action, with a brand new group of beta operators coming in to shape what gets built next.
This is the part where the origin story pays off. The operators who join this round aren't just getting early access, they're getting terms we will never offer again.
What the new class locks in
🕷️ The industry's lowest pricing, grandfathered forever. Not for a year, not until the next pricing update. Forever, for as long as you're with us.
⚡ Early access to every new premium feature, included. As we ship them, you get them. No upcharge, no upsell, no waiting on a tier upgrade.
🎯 A direct line to the roadmap. Your feedback decides what we build, and you'll watch it show up in the product.
🤝 White-glove onboarding, no contracts. We migrate you, we set you up, and you stay because it works.
We keep this group small on purpose. It's the only way to give every operator real one-on-one attention and actually keep pace with customization requests. More spots will open down the road, but this round stays intentionally tight.
Here's the heart of it: our goal is to build the easiest platform on the market for independent coworking spaces. No feature bloat. No clutter. Just the tools you actually use, laid out so simply that buying something from your location feels as easy as buying anything else online. We want to build this with you, and for you.
Consider this your invitation to suit up. 🕸️
See Phase 2 in action and find out whether this round is a fit for your space.
NEW POWERS UNLOCKED ⚡
Three new abilities just came online
🤖 AI report generator
Ask a question about your space and get an answer, no spreadsheet required. Occupancy, revenue, booking patterns, room utilization, member activity: pull it into a clean report in seconds instead of exporting three CSVs and building a pivot table at 9pm. Think of it as spider-sense for your numbers.
✍️ In-app document signing
Membership agreements, day-pass waivers, and office leases now get signed inside Zentry Pass. No separate e-sign subscription, no chasing PDFs through email threads, no wondering whether the new member ever actually signed. The document lives on the member record, where it belongs.
🛒 More checkout customization, now embeddable
You've got more control over how your checkout items look and behave, plus a new option: embeddable checkout. Keep using the hosted checkout page we provide, or drop that same purchase flow straight into your own website. Both work well, so pick whichever fits how your members already find you.
HOMETOWN HERO 🏙️
NexCore, St. Louis, MO
Brand new on the scene, and already worth the drive. NexCore opened its flagship space in South County St. Louis on Tesson Ferry Road, and the team is refreshingly clear about what they're actually building. In their own framing: the building isn't the product, the ecosystem is.
Coworking is the front door. Behind it sits everything they call Beyond Coworking: business systems, a real community layer, and a full events calendar aimed at getting members from "I have an idea" to "I have a business." Memberships, day passes, private offices, and bookable event space are all on the table, and founding memberships are open right now.

YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD WORKSPACE 🕸️
Every good origin story starts close to home 🏙️
Nobody becomes a hero commuting 90 minutes each way. The best work tends to happen about ten minutes from your front door, surrounded by people who are also building something. Here's the case for working in your own neighborhood.
The commute you get back is real time. Ten minutes instead of an hour is roughly two extra work weeks a year, handed straight back to you.
Ambition is contagious. Sit near people who are pitching, shipping, and closing, and your own standard quietly goes up. The kitchen table has never once raised anyone's game.
Your next collaborator is two desks over. Client, hire, co-founder, referral. You can't schedule that, you can only show up where it's possible.
Show up looking like you mean it. Fast Wi-Fi, a real meeting room, good coffee, and a background you don't have to apologize for on the call that matters.
Flexible, never locked in. Book what you need, when you need it, and scale up or down on demand, with access nationwide when you travel.
Take the mask off at 5pm. Closing a laptop and walking out a door protects your evenings in a way that closing a laptop in your living room never will.
So yes, we're basically prescribing it. If you're serious about your work, find a space near you. You could be set up by this afternoon.
INSIDER INTEL 🔍
What day passers actually care about
New this issue, and every issue from here on out: we survey the people buying day passes across the Zentry Pass network, and we hand the results straight to you. No dashboard to log into, no report to request. Just what members told us, and what you can do with it.
Here's what came back this round.
🧘 Wellness is the through line
A big share of respondents pointed to wellness activities: yoga, spin classes, run clubs, and plenty beyond that. It tracks. People who choose to work around other people tend to treat community and wellbeing as the same thing. How to use it: you don't need a studio or a build-out. A weekly run club that starts at your front door costs nothing and gives members a reason to show up on a specific day.
🍷 A lot of foodies
Wine, fine dining, and hunting down new restaurants came up again and again. How to use it: is there a mom and pop restaurant near you? Go cross-market with them. They mention you at the register, you give members a standing discount there, and you both get in front of an audience neither of you was paying to reach.
🐕 Almost 80% are pet owners
Nearly four in five respondents own a pet, which lines up with the spike we're seeing in pet-friendly coworking spaces across the network. How to use it: going fully pet-friendly isn't realistic for every building, but a pet-friendly day or a pet-friendly zone is a real differentiator. That's a rule change, not a renovation.
Your members are telling you what they want outside of work hours. The spaces that listen turn a desk rental into a reason to come back.
TRENDING IN THE MULTIVERSE 🔥
3 moves smart operators are making right now
The industry conversation this year keeps landing in the same three places. Here's what's actually moving, and how to put each one to work in your space.
1. Handing the paperwork to AI
The operators pulling ahead aren't working more hours, they're deleting the hours that never should have existed. Monthly reporting, utilization analysis, and renewal tracking are the first to go. How to use it: pick the one report you dread building and automate that first. On Zentry Pass, the new AI report generator handles it in a prompt.
2. Selling beyond the membership
Memberships are the floor, not the ceiling. Meeting rooms, day passes, virtual offices, event bookings, and add-on services are where the margin is hiding. How to use it: put every sellable item in your catalog with a price on it, then make it purchasable without a phone call. Revenue you never invoiced is revenue you never got.
3. Giving buyers more than one way in
Some operators want a clean hosted checkout link they can text to a prospect mid-tour. Others want purchasing built right into their own site. Neither is wrong. How to use it: match the format to how people actually discover you, and if you're not sure, run both and watch which one converts.
Small changes, big lift. Give members the easiest possible path to yes, and most of them will take it.
AFTER CREDITS 🎬
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but make it coworking 🕷️
Since we've made this the Brand New Day edition, we should probably explain what a superhero movie has to do with flexible work. Stay with us here.
The whole premise is one guy trying to hold down an ordinary life and a full-time hero job at the same time, which is functionally every independent operator we talk to: the front desk, the tours, the billing, the maintenance ticket, and the P&L, all before lunch. Great power, great responsibility, and a genuinely unreasonable amount of admin.
Here's the part we like. A brand new day isn't about getting new powers, it's about finally putting down the things that were never yours to carry. That's the entire point of Phase 2. Let the software handle the reports, the signatures, and the checkout, and get back to the reason you opened the doors in the first place: the people in the room. 💙
COWORKING GIGGLES 😅
A joke to go with your coffee ☕
Why did the spider sign up for a coworking membership?
He heard the web was incredible. 🕸️
Bonus: he'd technically been hot-desking in the corner for eight months already. Somebody get that man an invoice. 🕷️
ASSEMBLE 🦸
Where you'll find us next
🏆 We're Arch Grants finalists
Last issue we shared that Zentry Pass had made the Arch Grants semi-finals. We've officially advanced to the finalist stage. This community is a big part of how we got here, and we'll keep you posted on what happens next.
🏔️ We're sponsoring GWA in Denver
Zentry Pass is a proud sponsor of the GWA Conference in Denver, September 1st through 4th, and our CEO Karly Lamm will be there for the whole thing. If you're going to be in Denver, please come say hello. We'd genuinely love to meet you in person, hear how your space is running, and put a face to the name.
Grab a time with Karly before Denver fills up. 🤝
Prefer to just wave us down at the conference? Also completely fine. Find us on LinkedIn and say hello there first.
Ready for your brand new day?
Phase 2 spots are limited, and the pricing that comes with them is locked in for good.
We're heading into fall at full speed, and we genuinely appreciate you being here. This community is the whole reason we build.
With gratitude,
The Zentry Pass team
Connecting companies, employees, and workspaces for a more flexible and productive work environment.
